  1. For Operators

Quick Start

For Operators Securing Multiple AVSs

You are here because you run validator nodes or infrastructure services and want to secure multiple AVSs through MilkyWay.

Set Up a MilkyWay Node and Register

  • Install MilkyWay L1 software (Cosmos SDK-based)

  • Meet Requirements: Make sure your node hardware and uptime meet the minimums.

  • Follow the Operator guides for MilkyWay.

Opt In to AVSs

  • Browse the AVS marketplace in the MilkyWay dApp.

  • Check each AVS’s slash rules, rewards, and operator requirements.

  • Opt In with your infrastructure to earn extra fees.

Maintain Uptime

  • Keep stable server infrastructure to avoid slashing.

  • Monitor performance logs or metrics (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.).

Earn Rewards

  • Collect fees from each AVS you support.

  • Add any base staking rewards from Celestia, Initia, or Babylon if applicable.
