Mission and Vision

MilkyWay: One Stake, Infinite Impact.

The ultimate modular staking portal for Liquid Staking and Restaking.

MilkyWay is at the forefront of the emerging modular blockchain landscape, providing an all-in-one gateway to security and liquidity. Our approach unifies stakers, developers, operators, and investors under a single protocol, reducing the complexity of setting up new validator sets or staking tokens. We have a proven history of delivering robust solutions, starting with Celestia’s liquid staking, where we established our reputation for audited code and strong user satisfaction.

Why MilkyWay?

  • Trusted and Proven: As early pioneers in Celestia’s liquid staking, we have built a consistent track record of secure, well-tested systems.

  • Capital Efficiency: Liquid staking lets you earn rewards on your staked tokens while still using them in DeFi. Restaking goes further, enabling the same collateral to secure additional services for extra yield.

  • Plug-and-Play Security: Developers can skip the tedious process of building a separate validator set. By tapping into MilkyWay’s restaking framework, they simply define security parameters, and stakers can opt in if the yields look attractive.

  • Community-Driven Innovation: Our ecosystem spans bridging solutions, DeFi platforms, Actively Validated Services (AVSs), and node operators. Everyone gains from shared liquidity and security in one cohesive network.

In essence, MilkyWay unlocks advanced composability in the modular space. By connecting all stakeholders, we simplify how staking collateral is allocated and deployed.

Our Mission We aim to create a unified environment where stakers do not have to lock tokens on one chain, and off-chain modules do not have to craft new staking tokens or trust models. Through liquid staking, users mint LSD tokens, retaining liquidity as they earn staking rewards. By choosing to restake these LSDs, they can further increase yields. Meanwhile, developers avoid building an entirely new validator set or incentive scheme. Instead, they plug into MilkyWay’s existing security and liquidity pool.

Our Vision We see a multi-chain or modular ecosystem where LSD tokens flow smoothly between networks, and one large pool of staked collateral covers a variety of tasks. Bridging watchers, oracles, or data services can count on a stable, well-established validator pool, while LSD owners remain free to move assets into aggregator vaults or lending protocols. This synergy assists smaller or newly launched blockchains, and specialized rollups, allowing them to rely on high-caliber security without re-creating the usual overhead.
