Get Started with Staking on MilkyWay

Follow these steps to stake MILK and begin earning staking rewards:

1. Obtain MILK from an exchange.

   • Purchase MILK on a CEX (Binance/Bitget) or a DEX (Osmosis).

     • Other exchanges: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/milkyway/

2. Set up a personal wallet.

   • Install Keplr/Leap (browser extension / mobile)

     • Other wallets: https://www.milkyway.zone/#Wallets

   • Back up the 12 or 24 word seed phrase offline.

3. Fund your wallet.

   • Copy your MilkyWay address and send MILK to your MilkyWay address.

   • Confirm the balance appears in the wallet.

4. Choose a validator and stake MILK.

   • Option 1: Open the staking dashboard in Keplr → Staking.

     • https://wallet.keplr.app/chains/milkyway

     • Press "Connect Wallet" and log into your personal wallet.

     • Click Manage -> Delegate, enter MILK amount, approve TX.

   • Option 2: Visit the staking dashboard in the MilkyWay App

     • https://app.milkyway.zone/stake?tab=stake

     • Press "Connect Wallet" and log into your personal wallet.

     • Click Validator Corner -> Delegate, enter MILK amount, approve TX.

5. Monitor & Manage

   • Rewards begin accruing after the next block.

   • Re-delegate freely if you want to switch validators.

   • Unbonding takes 21 days.

6. Head over Liquid Stake and select TIA.
